Rectangular pocket cigarette case with two rounded long sides, with translucent fired enamel on guilloché top and bottom, with a lost, i.e. semi-invisible, hinge, opening with a spring button, in a modern contemporary style. Dimensions: 6 x 10 cm, height 1 cm. Weight: 159 g. Designed by Renato Salimbeni in 1942, inspired by previous products by the Salimbeni company, and produced in the Florence headquarters with manual workmanship by skilled artisans with thick sheet metal and large reinforcements suitable for withstanding numerous enamel firings at high temperatures at around 800° C. –
It is a new object that has never been used but is considered vintage because it was built more than 20 years ago.
